The town of Kremmling consists of approximately 1,400 residents. There is plenty of wide open space, public land access and a general hometown feel. At an elevation of 7,364, Kremmling lies at the confluence of the Blue, Colorado and Muddy Rivers. Rudolph Kremmling established a general store in 1884; the town was incorporated in 1904 and has not looked back!
Kremmling, known as the “Sportsman’s Paradise”, offers some of the best outdoor activities in the state. Hunting, fishing, Nordic skiing, water skiing, snow shoeing, 4-wheeling, and hiking are just a few in the long list of outdoor adventures! It is conveniently located ninety minutes from 8 world class ski resorts, including, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Steamboat Springs, Vail and Beaver Creek. Kremmling provides one of the last areas of affordable housing in the Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by acres of public land.
